It's been pretty crazy for me lately, running from golf lessons to working on service projects to going out with friends, so taking a step back for the Fourth of July was much appreciated! The Fourth has always been my favorite holiday, so I loved getting to dress up and getting festive to celebrate!

Hello Summer!

Yesterday was my last day of exams, so now I am on summer vacation! I spent last night dancing the night away on my friend's beach, and then celebrated my first official day of summer with brunch and a pool day. I can't wait for many adventures this summer, all while sporting my latest Lilly and looking perfect in pearls ;) Stay tuned for many upcoming posts!!

What's In My Beach Bag

With 19 hours until summer {like anyone's counting...}, I've begun to pack up my beach bag. This is the bag that I'll bring around with me everywhere I go this summer, starting with the beach day I have planned with friends for tomorrow!

Boyfriend Jeans

With summer right around the corner, I've been on the hunt for a good pair of "summer" jeans. I've recently fallen in love with boyfriend jeans, and am seriously considering buying a pair {such as these}. With a light-wash pair with converse and a little white tank or a blouse and strappy heels, I think they're perfect for a classic look with a twist.

Exam Time!

t-6 days until SUMMER! My school has exams this upcoming week, which means that this weekend will be busy studying. Call me crazy, but I LOVE exam week.. It's spent lying out in the sun studying, sipping on iced skinny caramel lattes, and going on study dates with my friends.

Here a few of my tips to ACE those exams

1. your teachers want to see you succeed; don't be afraid to ask questions!

2. cramming will only end in tears and a major headache; study a chapter or two each day

3. studies have shown that your brain is awake earlier in the day, so rather then waiting until 9pm, study in the early afternoon

4. my favorite piece of advice--reward yourself! get that venti drink at Starbucks and go ahead and order yourself that new monogramed necklace, you deserve it!

Service Club Luncheon

It finally feels like spring!

I am a part of a local Service Club formed of high school girls in my community; we do service locally for two years and then debut in a charity ball our freshman year of college. I love being a part of this organization, and was elected to be a part of the Junior Board for next year! I'm so excited and can't wait.

For the luncheon, I sported my new Lilly dress. Is it just me, or is this pattern, Lobstah Roll, just the cutest?! I received so many compliments and am just in LOVE!

Sunday Favorite: New Longchamp Collection

While shopping in Limoges, I stopped at a store to pick up a new Longchamp (a girl can never have too many, n'est pas?) While there, I saw the new collection and Fell. In. Love. I really want the pink one which is a salmon-y pink, but ended up getting a simple navy.

Sunday Favorite: ASOS ELECTION Chelsea Ankle Boots

I'm here in France, and yesterday I went shopping in Bordeaux with my host family. While admiring all of the clothes in the shops (and picking up a few things for myself, of course!), I couldn't help but fall completely in love with the French street style. All of the girls have got the #WokeUpLikeThis style down, and from the black coats to the skinny jeans to the oversized totes, I fell in love. One item that I realized I needed STAT was a pair of chunky ankle booties, for all of the girls were rocking them like it was their job! I'm loving these ASOS ankle booties and will totally be buying them when I return to the States!

What's your take on chunky ankle booties? I want to know!
